About us

My name is Richard Fidder. After studying tourism and attending the School of Translators and Interpreters, I went on to complete a degree in Spanish Language and Culture and specialised in Translation, at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands in 2004. Part of this course involved an exchange programme with the Complutense University of Madrid where I took classes under the Philology and Sociology Faculties .

After completing my degree, I lived in Madrid, Seville, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca for several years, where I worked predominantly in the tourism and hospitality field and as a translator for non-governmental organisations, such as the UN Refugee Agency UNHCR and the Spanish division of Doctors Without Borders.

This experience led to the foundation of Globalingua Translations . We are a young translation agency, but we are proud that we can boast many years of translation experience in the fields of tourism and hospitality, non-governmental organisations and government institutions. We work enthusiastically to provide accurate, high-quality translations on a daily basis.
